Senior P2P Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Ensure the accurate and prompt processing of supplier invoices and payments.

• Foster strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.

• Assist AP Analysts in problem-solving while enhancing the overall efficiency of the accounts payable department.

• Process a high volume of supplier invoices, maintaining accuracy and adherence to company policies.

• Execute matching of purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices (3-way matching).

• Prepare and execute payment runs (BACS, CHAPS, cheques).

• Aid analysts with non-standard processes or escalations.

• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.

• Ensure compliance with VAT and other relevant financial regulations.

• Communicate clearly and professionally with senior stakeholders and suppliers.

• Present information confidently to superiors and non-AP colleagues (e.g., IT Helpdesk, Wider Business).

• Leverage prior experience and judgment to address supplier and internal escalations promptly and professionally.

• Share knowledge and support peers.

• Mentor less experienced team members through challenging or non-standard business scenarios.

• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and lead implementation when appropriate.

• Advise on and take corrective action, identifying and recommending solutions for any errors or mistakes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Excel with the ability to perform basic data analysis (e.g., Pivot, Filter, VLOOKUP).

• Competent in Outlook and Word, with the capability to create basic PowerPoint presentations.

• Experience with SAP (ECC6 or S/4) and VIM, or an equivalent ERP system.

• Understanding of various UK Domestic VAT rates (Standard, Reduced, Zero Rated, Exempt).
