Senior Oracle Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Comprehending the business needs.

• Writing code and executing the proposed solutions.

• Conducting debugging and root cause analysis.

• Developing data pipelines, including version control and change management.

• Navigating the complexities associated with versioned data pipelines.

• Creating ETL/ELT processes to extract and manipulate data from various sources.

• Designing, constructing, and maintaining batch or real-time data pipelines in a production environment.

• Automating data workflows such as ingestion, aggregation, and ETL processing.

• Ensuring data accuracy, integrity, privacy, security, and compliance through quality control measures.

• Providing training and mentorship to junior engineers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Oracle Database, Stored Procedures, SQL Optimization, and Data Analysis.

• Skilled in debugging and root cause analysis.

• Advanced expertise in Oracle SQL along with experience in relational databases and database design.

• Familiarity with cloud-based data lakehouse and ETL platforms such as Databricks.

• Strong proficiency in Python with practical experience using Pandas, NumPy, and other data-related libraries.

• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI, and AWS QuickSight.

• Solid exposure to Data Lakes and Data Warehouses solutions.

• Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and organizational abilities.
