This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.
• Assist in realizing the vision and commitment to ongoing enhancement of operational excellence across all functions.
• Lead the assessment of business processes and workflows to uncover opportunities for improvement or automation under the guidance of a supervisor.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to utilize root-cause problem-solving methods for identifying fundamental process challenges.
• Aid in the formulation of recommendations for process enhancements, utilizing insights from subject matter experts for essential input.
• Work alongside cross-functional leadership to prioritize improvement opportunities and bolster strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate on the design and execution of new business processes while considering organizational context and priorities.
• Spearhead change management initiatives and assist the business through a communication framework, assessing the impact on roles and employing various strategies to support change management efforts, ensuring the adoption and sustainability of process modifications.
• Direct internal communications to effectively inform stakeholders about progress, performance, key issues, and obstacles that may affect business goals or critical program and project completions.
• Identify operational risks and spearhead the implementation of mitigation strategies.
• Ensure or oversee the documentation of business processes.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop key performance metrics and dashboards for monitoring operational performance.
• Provide insights into training and guidance for teams on new processes and methods for identifying improvement opportunities, fostering awareness of continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support standardized best practices and processes organization-wide to ensure consistency and sustainability.
• Monitor, evaluate, and analyze the effectiveness of new initiatives and processes, making adjustments as necessary.
• Oversee the adoption of processes, systems, and organizational changes to guarantee long-term and sustained adoption.
• Prepare and maintain tools and templates to facilitate execution.
• Schedule meetings, document notes, and track action items.
• Travel as required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years of experience in change management, operations support, and process improvement.
• Background in CRO/pharmaceutical/biotechnology drug development or proven proficiency in key areas relevant to the role.
• Strong drug development experience with an understanding of other functions pertinent to the position.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Knowledge of ICH-GCP and relevant regulatory guidelines.
• Strong interpersonal and training abilities.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
• Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within teams.
• High level of professionalism, ownership, and pride in the quality of deliverables.
• Understanding of change management models (e.g., ADKAR) and utilization of change radars.
• Adaptable attitude regarding work assignments and ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
