This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Serve as a versatile operations resource for the Chief of Corporate Operations, managing cross-functional analysis, coordination, and projects as priorities evolve.
• Create Excel models and PowerPoint presentations that convert intricate operational and financial subjects into actionable insights for leadership.
• Prepare, coordinate, and facilitate monthly revenue and business reviews, along with other initiatives for leadership.
• Collaborate with the Chief of Corporate Operations and executive leadership on matters related to corporate operations, business planning, and financial topics of the company.
• Develop and maintain models and plans that encompass ERM, ESG, OKRs, KPIs, benchmarking, budgeting, compensation planning, and organizational infrastructure.
• Establish and monitor efficiency metrics across various departments.
• Assist department leads with modeling and planning initiatives.
• Create financial and compensation models for evaluation by leadership, the board, and investors.
• Proficient in Excel modeling and crafting polished, executive-ready PowerPoint presentations.
• Background in corporate operations, business operations, or corporate finance.
• Familiarity with intricate company structures and/or financing topics is preferred.
• Possess a structured and organized thought process with the ability to articulate a clear narrative through analysis.
• Comfortable providing support to a Chief of Corporate Operations and executive leadership with coordination, judgment, and discretion.
• Capability to multitask across a variety of professional topics, time zones, and daily responsibilities.
• Exceptional written and analytical communication skills.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Experience with both large and small company priorities and challenges.
• Ability to work remotely as part of a distributed team; candidates located on the US East Coast are preferred.
• Experience in a startup or scale-up environment is a plus.
• Direct experience supporting a C-level executive or executive leadership team is advantageous.
• Familiarity with the space, geospatial, Earth observation, or other deep-tech industries is beneficial.
• Practical experience in creating departmental planning, efficiency, or compensation models is a nice-to-have.
