This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Develop the internal Finance, People, and Business Operations teams, currently consisting of 8 FTEs.
• Lead the Finance department in close collaboration with the CFO, continuously enhancing the function.
• Establish organizational frameworks, delineate responsibilities, and enforce governance within Finance.
• Streamline Finance processes, enhance automation, and integrate suitable systems and KPIs.
• Oversee the People team, creating efficient and scalable structures, processes, and responsibilities.
• Empower the People team to serve as a strategic partner in areas such as recruiting, performance management, compensation, learning and development, and employee relations.
• Further refine People processes and tools to assist managers effectively.
• Propel strategic initiatives across the organization and execute them operationally alongside the executive team and Chief of Staff.
• Continue the development of Business Operations, ensuring scalable frameworks, processes, and responsibilities.
• Advance central company processes related to data protection, legal compliance, insurance, and corporate governance.
• Set clear standards, delineate responsibilities, and enhance administrative processes efficiently.
• Several years of leadership experience in a senior management position.
• Proven experience in leading and developing teams within complex and evolving organizational structures.
• Comprehensive understanding of business administration and operations.
• Capability to provide strategic and operational direction across Finance, People, and Business Operations.
• Background in organizational development and the establishment of internal corporate functions, processes, and responsibilities.
• Solution-oriented, pragmatic, and hands-on approach to challenges.
• Strong communication skills and effective leadership abilities.
• Proficiency in both German and English, written and spoken.
