This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Spearhead the ongoing advancement of the internal Finance, People, and Business Operations teams, which currently consist of 8 full-time employees.
• Facilitate effective, scalable, and cross-departmental collaboration as the organization continues its expansion.
• Direct and enhance the Finance team in close partnership with the CFO.
• Create organizational frameworks, define roles, and establish governance within the Finance department.
• Streamline Finance processes, boost automation, and implement suitable systems and key performance indicators.
• Lead and nurture the People team.
• Ensure the development of efficient and scalable structures, processes, and responsibilities within the People department.
• Provide strategic assistance to business units in Recruiting, Performance Management, Compensation, Learning & Development, and Employee Relations.
• Further refine People processes and tools to assist managers.
• Execute strategic initiatives in partnership with the executive team and Chief of Staff.
• Continue to build the Business Operations function.
• Enhance core company processes related to Data Protection, Legal, Compliance, Insurance, and Corporate Governance.
• Set clear standards, delineate responsibilities, and develop efficient administrative processes in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
• Several years of leadership experience in a senior management capacity.
• Proven track record in leading and developing teams within complex and growing organizational structures.
• Comprehensive understanding of business administration and operations.
• Capability to evaluate Finance, People, and Business Operations from a functional standpoint and recognize their interconnections.
• Experience in adjusting internal company functions, processes, and roles to accommodate expanding organizational frameworks.
• Solution-oriented, pragmatic, and hands-on approach to challenges.
• Excellent communication and strong leadership abilities.
• Comfortable collaborating with the executive team and various business functions.
• Proficient in both German and English.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace, Slack, Asana, Miro, Langdock, and Personio, or a willingness to engage with these tools.
