This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Ensure the continuity, security, and advancement of the information technology infrastructure, guaranteeing that both physical and logical resources are consistently available, up-to-date, and aligned with the organization’s operational requirements through effective, proactive, and innovative management.
• This role is part of the Infrastructure Support for Applications team and is tasked with ensuring the availability and stability of Microsoft servers.
• Install, configure, update, and decommission both physical and virtual servers, ensuring functionality in high-availability environments (clusters).
• Define and structure access resources, such as folders and shares.
• Establish naming conventions for users and groups related to the security framework.
• Define software usage policies applicable to workstations, including Group Policy Objects (GPOs) and the creation of standard images.
• Manage the antivirus/antimalware solution and address related issues.
• Diagnose and resolve complex incidents in the Windows operational environment that cannot be addressed by Level 2 support.
• Serve as a pre-qualification point for initiating and tracking support tickets with the vendor’s technical support.
• Monitor server performance and conduct resource sizing analysis (capacity planning).
• Assess the need for security patch installations and evaluate their impacts.
• Maintain the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) by registering and reviewing Configuration Items (CIs).
• Prepare technical documentation on best practices and assess new solutions along with their respective technical specifications.
• Participate in infrastructure projects by providing technical data for sizing new servers and components.
• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (IT) or a related field, officially recognized by Brazil’s Ministry of Education (MEC).
• Exhibit experience in the specialty (Windows Server), particularly in critical corporate settings with high availability.
• Completion of ITIL 4 training with a minimum duration of 12 (twelve) hours.
• Hold an official ITIL 4 Foundation certification or higher (subject to a 12–18 month compliance period for 100% of the technical team).
• MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure OR Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate OR an equivalent certification.
