This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Implement sales strategies by promoting existing and potential new oncology therapeutics.
• Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of product clinical efficacy and offer clinical support/information.
• Meet sales quotas and document sales achievements.
• Perform business analysis and seek new opportunities within the designated territory.
• Collaborate with the District Manager to formulate account strategies aimed at boosting sales.
• Identify key accounts and healthcare professionals, and devise account penetration strategies.
• Create tailored pre- and post-call plans for customers.
• Foster customer loyalty and build new relationships.
• Persuade decision-makers with targeted sales communications grounded in accurate clinical data.
• Utilize approved sales and marketing tools and execute localized marketing initiatives.
• Partner with the Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine team and counterparts.
• Gain insights into healthcare delivery systems, physician hierarchies, pharmacy personnel, and clinical nursing staff.
• Stay informed about reimbursement, managed care, specialty pharmacies, patient demographics, and treatment protocols.
• Attend mandatory sales meetings and complete training requirements.
• Fulfill healthcare compliance, expense reporting, call reporting, and other administrative tasks.
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree.
• Experience in oncology specialty sales and/or major hospital account sales.
• Possession of a valid driver's license.
• Willingness to travel as needed, including overnight and/or weekend trips.
• At least two years of direct selling experience in pharmaceuticals or biologics/biotech with a proven record of sales success and target achievement, or relevant clinical experience.
• Experience in hospital and large account sales.
• Understanding of intricate reimbursement and managed care dynamics.
• Proven track record of successful sales performance in a competitive landscape.
• Strong skills in relationship-building and ability to identify key decision-makers.
• High motivation to achieve and surpass goals.
• Residing in the designated area or willingness to relocate.
• Capability to effectively use virtual technology and engage customers through virtual face-to-face interactions.
• Preferred: Experience in hematology and/or rare disease specialty sales and knowledge of the oncology market.
• Preferred: Experience with product launches in highly competitive settings.
• Preferred: Experience with Multiple Myeloma.
• Demonstrated commitment to learning about emerging technologies such as AI.
