Senior Observability Engineer – Dynatrace to New Relic

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee a vital migration initiative from Dynatrace to New Relic for our client.

• Accountable for designing and implementing the transfer of Dynatrace functionalities to comparable features in New Relic.

• Guarantee thorough performance validation both before and after the migration process.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of practical experience with enterprise-level monitoring solutions.

• Extensive knowledge of both Dynatrace and New Relic platforms.

• Solid experience in synthetic monitoring, especially with Catchpoint.

• Familiarity with deploying New Relic agents across various programming language tech stacks (Java, Spring Boot).

• Proficient in addressing JVM-related challenges.

• Strong capabilities in Kubernetes, AWS cloud, OpenTelemetry (OTel), Dashboard Creation and Management (New Relic), Anomaly Detection Configuration, JVM Troubleshooting, Scripting and Automation (Python, JavaScript), Kafka, Rabbit MQ, and Grafana.
