Senior Noise Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Perform measurements, modeling, and prepare technical documentation.

• Act as a representative of Acentech during client meetings.

• Assist with public outreach initiatives to convey study results.

• Engage in hands-on consulting for projects related to environmental concerns, data centers, science and biotechnology, construction, commercial sectors, energy, industrial applications, healthcare, and education.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in environmental noise management.

• A degree in engineering or science, with relevant coursework or specialization in vibration and/or acoustics, or equivalent practical experience.

• Background in consulting and project management.

• Knowledge of vibration or acoustics measurement tools and associated data processing, analysis, and modeling techniques.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Strong organizational abilities and self-driven motivation.

• Capability to collaborate within teams as well as independently manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Experience working within project budgets and timelines.

• A keen passion for the work and meticulous attention to detail.

• Familiarity with modeling software (like CadnaA) is an advantage.

• Openness to travel and undertake fieldwork, which may include evenings and weekends.
