Senior Network Solutions Engineer – Enterprise Networking, Wireless

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Designing, implementing, optimizing, and providing support for enterprise networking solutions across campus, branch, cloud-connected, data center, and hybrid settings.

• Collaborating closely with sales teams, solutions architects, and client stakeholders to assess infrastructure needs, create scalable network architectures, support modernization efforts, and ensure sustained operational success.

• Facilitating client workshops, whiteboard sessions, and architecture evaluations.

• Delivering technical recommendations to IT leadership and stakeholders.

• Assisting with proposals, RFP/RFI submissions, and validating technical solutions.

• Engaging in proof-of-concept (PoC) and pilot deployments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Over 5 years of progressive experience in enterprise network engineering and solution design.

• Extensive expertise in Cisco enterprise networking technologies, Routing and switching, Enterprise wireless solutions, and Network security integration.

• Strong proficiency with Cisco, Cisco Meraki, HPE Aruba, Palo Alto Networks, and Fortinet.

• Experience in designing and supporting enterprise-scale infrastructures.

• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical abilities.

• Capability to work independently in a remote setting.

• Cisco CCNP Enterprise (minimum preferred) or Cisco CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure strongly preferred.

• Preferred qualifications include Aruba certifications and/or wireless certifications.

• Familiarity with SD-WAN platforms and network automation.

• Knowledge of Python, Ansible, REST APIs, or Terraform.

• Experience working with California SLED (K–12, higher education, government) clients.

• Strong communication and presentation skills for client-facing interactions.
