This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Implement data-driven initiatives that enhance internal operations and contribute to commercial growth strategies.
• Convert raw customer data into meaningful insights.
• Assist in network optimization projects and create analytics tools for bids and supply chain efficiency.
• Utilize mathematical modeling methods such as linear programming, mixed-integer programming, regression analysis, and systems of equations.
• Design, assess, and execute operations research solutions for network design, optimization, capacity projections, inventory management, and demand forecasting.
• Process raw customer information for cost and pricing analysis, network optimization solutions, and competitive bidding.
• Oversee comprehensive network optimization projects, encompassing facility location analysis, capacity planning, transportation optimization, and cost-to-serve modeling.
• Assist in making strategic decisions related to new site locations, warehouse capacity expansions, and investments in network infrastructure.
• Facilitate the transition from Excel-based analytics and workflows to scalable software platform applications.
• Define requirements, prioritize features, and ensure successful project delivery.
• Develop and maintain analytics dashboards for customer engagement.
• Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of AI agents to automate analytics processes and boost operational efficiency.
• Report directly to the Senior Manager of Supply Chain Design & Analytics.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Industrial and Operations Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in supply chain analytics projects, including network and inventory optimization and demand forecasting.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with network optimization software such as Supply Chain Guru.
• Practical experience with Python programming.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced startup environment with changing priorities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to task ownership.
• Occasional travel (up to 10%) may be necessary.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Capability to travel by car or air to client and customer sites.
• Must possess a credit card and manage personal expenses for bi-weekly reimbursements.
• Preferred: experience in AI agent development, deployment, and assessment.
• Preferred: familiarity with Agile/Sprint methodologies for project or product development.
• Preferred: knowledge of warehouse automation and its effects on end-to-end supply chains.
• Preferred: strong Python programming skills and experience with Tableau or Power BI.
• Preferred: effective skills in data storytelling.
