This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Accountable for the design, implementation, support, monitoring, and troubleshooting of the Firm’s LAN/WAN infrastructure.
• Deliver Tier 3 end user support to over 1,800 users across 18 or more geographical locations.
• Uphold a Service Level Agreement that outlines uptime and performance commitments to the user community.
• Establish and maintain system standards, including documentation, configuration, and implementation processes.
• Create and sustain standard procedures for performance optimization, backup and recovery, and growth planning.
• Test and assess new hardware, software, and upgrades as directed by management.
• Supervise work completed by Network Specialists and Engineers in switching and routing domains.
• Serve as the technical liaison for vendors concerning the Firm’s networked systems and applications.
• Design, implement, and support system security measures, including Firewall and Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS).
• Design, implement, and support telephony systems.
• Design, implement, and support all methods for user remote access.
• Develop and maintain data backup and recovery methodologies and processes.
• Keep abreast of the latest product knowledge related to relevant infrastructure software and hardware.
• A Bachelor's Degree combined with 7 years of experience; an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may substitute for the educational requirement.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills necessary for maintaining effective relationships with attorneys, clients, and staff, both in person and via email and telephone.
• Proficiency in mathematical concepts, including probability and statistical inference.
• Capability to define problems, gather data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Proven ability to creatively diagnose and resolve complex issues involving hardware, software, and end users.
