Senior Network Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Coordinate network maintenance and system upgrades, encompassing service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.

• Install, implement, and configure a variety of network devices, solutions, and services, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, and QoS.

• Monitor system performance to ensure availability and reliability.

• Track system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning.

• Ensure adherence to policies and requirements while troubleshooting any issues that arise.

• Organize the deployment of security tools, policies, and procedures in collaboration with the company's security team.

• Collaborate with vendors and other IT personnel to expedite problem resolution.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years' experience as a Network Engineer.

• At least 1 year of experience working with AWS or Azure.

• Over 5 years of experience in IT or a related field.

• Proficient in cloud-based networking (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS).

• Extensive experience with leading vendors such as Cisco, Palo Alto, HP, Ubiquiti, and Aruba.

• Practical knowledge of implementing VPN technologies, including IPsec, SSL VPN, and encryption.

• Experience working with next-generation firewalls (application filtering, IDS/IPS).

• Proven experience with Palo Alto Firewalls is essential.

• Significant experience with monitoring, network diagnostics, and network analytics tools.

• Strong understanding of networking protocols (including IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF).

• Experience in establishing a Zero Trust model.

• Experience managing 20 or more firewalls in Panorama.

• CCNA/CCNP or similar certifications are highly desirable.
