This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Peru.
• Coordinate network maintenance and system upgrades, which include service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.
• Install, implement, and configure a variety of network devices, solutions, and services such as routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, and QoS.
• Oversee system performance to ensure its availability and reliability.
• Track system resource utilization, trends, and capacity planning.
• Ensure adherence to policies and requirements while troubleshooting any arising issues.
• Organize the deployment of security tools, policies, and procedures in collaboration with the company's security team.
• Collaborate with vendors and other IT staff to expedite problem resolution.
• A minimum of 4 years' experience as a Network Engineer.
• At least 1 year of experience working with AWS or Azure.
• Over 5 years of experience in IT or a related field.
• Familiarity with cloud-based networking solutions (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS).
• Extensive experience with leading industry vendors (Cisco, Palo Alto, HP, Ubiquiti, Aruba).
• Proficient in implementing VPN technologies, including IPsec, SSL VPN, and encryption.
• Experience with next-generation firewalls, including application filtering and IDS/IPS.
• Prior experience with Palo Alto Firewalls is essential.
• Significant experience using monitoring, network diagnostic, and network analytics tools.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols (such as IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF).
• Experience in establishing a Zero Trust model.
• Background in managing over 20 firewalls in Panorama.
• CCNA/CCNP or equivalent certifications are highly desirable.
