Senior .Net Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and manage server-side services and APIs that drive gaming applications.

• Enhance backend performance and scalability to accommodate rising traffic and changing product demands.

• Ensure data consistency, reliability, and integrity across all database systems.

• Develop clear and efficient RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless communication between frontend and backend.

• Create real-time features such as multiplayer functionality, chat systems, and game state synchronization.

• Uphold a high standard of security by safeguarding user data and preventing unauthorized access.

• Integrate third-party services, including payment solutions and external APIs.

• Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure backend systems remain stable and dependable.

• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for backend services, APIs, and internal processes.

• Collaborate with team members using Git-based workflows and engage in code review processes.

• Work closely with frontend developers, designers, QA engineers, and other key stakeholders.

• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex backend issues, including production-related incidents.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of four years of professional backend development experience, ideally in the gaming sector.

• Strong expertise in C# along with practical experience in .NET and ASP.NET Core.

• A solid grasp of RESTful API design, backend architecture, and database management systems.

• Experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a knack for optimizing systems for performance and scalability.

• Effective communication skills and experience in cross-functional team environments.

• A passion for gaming products with a commitment to delivering high-quality technical solutions.

• Intermediate English proficiency for daily communication.
