Senior .NET Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Create and develop RESTful APIs and services utilizing .NET to connect a new partner-facing portal with internal loan systems.

• Execute business logic in accordance with documented API contracts and business regulations.

• Construct and utilize asynchronous, event-driven integrations through message or queue-based notifications.

• Develop automated tests and engage in code review processes.

• Deploy and manage containerized services on Azure with GitLab CI pipelines.

• Diagnose and rectify defects across Development, QA, UAT, and Production environments.

• Work in conjunction with the Business Analyst and Software Architect to clarify requirements and identify edge cases.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of professional experience in software development with .NET (C#), including taking independent ownership of complex features from start to finish.

• Proficient in building and consuming REST APIs.

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services (App Services, Functions, Service Bus, or similar).

• Familiarity with containerized deployments (Docker).

• Proficient in Git and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI or similar).

• Understanding of automated testing frameworks (unit and integration tests).

• Strong English communication skills (B2+) — regular collaboration with a US-based team.

• Experience in OAuth 2.0 / bearer-token security patterns.

• Knowledge of event-driven or asynchronous architectures (Service Bus, pub/sub).

• Background in mortgage, lending, or financial services.

• Experience integrating with legacy or mainframe systems through APIs.
