Senior .NET Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain back-end services utilizing C#, ADO.NET, and SQL Server.

• Create and enhance SOAP and REST APIs with appropriate versioning, security measures, and adherence to best practices.

• Ensure the reliability of services through unit and integration testing, troubleshooting, monitoring, and performing root-cause analysis.

• Collaborate on the integration of various systems and services by applying suitable software design patterns.

• Conduct code reviews, provide constructive technical feedback, and mentor junior engineers.

• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, applying them to enhance existing solutions.

• Contribute to CI/CD processes and practices to boost development efficiency and the quality of deployments.

• Deliver dependable and high-performance back-end services and integrations.

• Raise engineering standards through reviews and mentorship.

• Collaborate across different time zones and cultures, using English as the primary means of communication.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with both .NET Framework and .NET Core in production environments.

• Practical experience in building back-end services using C#, ADO.NET, and SQL Server.

• Strong background in implementing and evolving SOAP and RESTful services, including versioning and adherence to best practices.

• Deep understanding of ADO.NET, SQL Server, database design, and performance optimization.

• Proficient in XML serialization and deserialization.

• Solid knowledge of software design patterns and engineering best practices.

• Experience with unit and integration testing, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis to ensure service reliability.

• Strong communication skills in multicultural and fast-paced settings.

• Advanced proficiency in English; all communications conducted in English.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure (preferred).

• Knowledge of specification-driven development and agentic approaches to software development (preferred).

• Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban (preferred).
