Senior .NET Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain back-end services utilizing C#, ADO.NET, and SQL Server.

• Implement and enhance SOAP and REST APIs while adhering to best practices and versioning guidelines.

• Ensure the reliability of services through unit testing, integration testing, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.

• Collaborate on the integration of various systems and services, employing software design patterns.

• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior team members.

• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, applying them to enhance existing solutions.

• Contribute to CI/CD workflows and best practices to improve development efficiency.

• Work closely with a multicultural team located in Brazil, Colombia, the UK, and the USA, with communication primarily in English.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with .NET Framework and .NET Core in production environments.

• Strong understanding of ADO.NET and SQL Server.

• Experience in database design and performance optimization.

• Practical experience with SOAP and RESTful services.

• Proficiency in XML serialization and deserialization.

• Solid understanding of software design patterns and best practices.

• Excellent communication skills and adaptability in fast-paced, multicultural teams.

• Advanced proficiency in English.

• Proactive approach to task ownership with a focus on continuous improvement.

• Strong communication abilities across both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Team-oriented player who values collective success.

• Ability to manage ambiguity and shifting requirements effectively.

• Experience with cloud platforms, with a preference for Azure.

• Familiarity with specification-driven development and agentic methodologies in software development.
