Senior .NET Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and maintain backend APIs and services utilizing .NET Core and the most recent versions of the .NET framework.

• Collaborate in defining the architecture for new features while improving existing systems.

• Ensure high code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and adherence to best development practices such as SOLID principles and Clean Architecture.

• Implement and enhance observability solutions, which include metrics, logs, and traces.

• Utilize tools like Dynatrace to monitor the availability, health, and performance of production applications.

• Engage with cloud infrastructure, supporting the deployment and management of services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly focusing on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).

• Actively take part in Agile ceremonies, adhering to Scrum or Kanban methodologies.

• Conduct code reviews and contribute to the technical advancement of the team.

• Identify performance bottlenecks and suggest optimization strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Senior Backend Developer.

• Proficiency with .NET Core, .NET 8 or newer, and C#.

• Experience in developing and integrating APIs.

• Understanding of unit testing and integration testing methodologies.

• Familiarity with Dynatrace for application monitoring, tracing, and performance assessment.

• Practical knowledge of services within Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, preferably GKE.

• Strong SQL capabilities and familiarity with relational databases such as Oracle and PostgreSQL.

• Experience with microservices architecture.

• Knowledge of asynchronous communication, queues, and messaging technologies such as Kafka or Pub/Sub.

• Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps methodologies.

• Familiarity with SOLID principles, Clean Architecture, and software engineering best practices.
