
Senior Named Account Manager – Commercial Accounts

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Chile.
• Proactively engage with potential new customers both in-person and remotely to present Proofpoint products and articulate our value proposition.
• Diligently research and actively seek out prospects within your designated territory to uncover potential new Proofpoint clients.
• Effectively manage existing customers in your territory to sustain and enhance their investment in Proofpoint.
• Lead the entire sales process from initiation to completion, including prospecting, identifying opportunities, conducting introductory meetings, demonstrating products, addressing customer inquiries, and handling negotiations and closures.
• Collaborate with our growing network of channel partners to generate both new and additional revenue.
• Engage with the management team through one-on-one meetings, team discussions, and by providing forecasts and reports for essential updates and strategic account planning.
• Complete internal requirements such as training and assessments to ensure field success.
• May require adjusted work hours to accommodate accounts in different time zones, along with occasional travel for key accounts.
• Proficiency in both English and Spanish is essential.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in selling cyber-security solutions within the Chile and ROLA markets is highly preferred.
• Established relationships with senior cybersecurity executives (e.g., CISOs) will be advantageous.
• Strong understanding of value selling methodology to effectively market a premium product.
• Experience in selling through channel partners is required.
• Proven track record of consistent success and exceeding targets in a sales position.
• Experience managing the complete sales cycle, from prospecting to negotiation and closing.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills (both verbal and written) alongside strong organizational abilities.
• Positive attitude and a collaborative team player who is willing to share their strategies for success.
• Familiarity with Salesforce.com or other CRM systems is a plus.
• A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is mandatory.
• Travel is a requirement for this position.
