Senior MS Dynamics 365 BC Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee comprehensive implementations of the company's rental management solution, from initial discovery to go-live support.

• Align customer business processes, including asset tracking, rental contracts and billing, maintenance scheduling, and dispatch, with the rental solution and core Business Central functionalities.

• Set up standard Business Central modules such as Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Jobs/Projects, and Fixed Assets, in conjunction with the company's rental management extension.

• Collaborate with sales teams and solution architects during pre-sales discovery calls, demonstrations, and project scoping.

• Provide training to customer administrators and end-users.

• Create comprehensive documentation, configuration manuals, and procedural playbooks.

• Diagnose and resolve functional issues reported by customers or partners.

• Forward platform bugs to the product team with detailed reproduction steps.

• Assist implementation partners with enablement, configuration advice, and best practices.

• Enhance the internal knowledge base and implementation methodology as the product and customer base expands.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of practical experience in Business Central functional consulting or implementation.

• Strong understanding of essential Business Central modules: Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Jobs, and Fixed Assets.

• Experience in implementing systems in asset-intensive, rental, field service, or related sectors such as construction, industrial equipment, or oilfield services is highly preferred.

• Excellent client-facing skills, including the ability to gather requirements, communicate with stakeholders, and deliver training.

• Comfort with ISV/vertical add-on products, beyond the standard Business Central offerings.

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certification is a plus.

• Basic knowledge of AL extensions/customizations is an advantage.

• Must be a US citizen or a Green Card holder.
