Senior MotoTrbo-LCP Radio & BDA/DAS Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Program, troubleshoot, and perform system diagnostics on MotoTrbo-LCP radio systems and BDA/DAS systems.

• Employ industry-standard testing tools, including service monitors/analyzers, watt meters, and hand tools.

• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

• Provide repairs, technical support, and documentation for MotoTrbo-LCP systems, mobile and portable subscribers, and BDA/DAS systems.

• Maintain and repair base systems, repeaters, remote controls, multiplexers, antenna systems, and battery backup systems.

• Oversee the upkeep of Avtec dispatch console equipment.

• Diagnose and repair BDA/DAS systems along with other electronic components.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or vocational institution in electronics and wireless system repair, or a comparable combination of education and experience.

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in electronic communications repair.

• Familiarity with battery backup systems, base stations, repeaters, combiners, and fundamental networking skills.

• Proficient in computer operations, including Microsoft Office and specialized radio programming software.

• FCC General Radiotelephone Operator License, CET (ETA), NICET I, NICET II, or similar industry certification is preferred.

• Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

• Capability to pass a background check.

• Willingness to travel approximately 80% during work weeks.
