Senior Motion Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Design unique motion concepts and systems that seamlessly integrate into a brand's identity.

• Establish motion principles, behaviors, transitions, and animation styles that convey a brand's character.

• Produce high-quality animations for brand identities, digital experiences, presentations, and marketing initiatives.

• Collaborate with Creative Directors, Design Directors, and Brand Designers throughout the creative workflow.

• Convert static design systems into dynamic, cohesive, and recognizable motion languages.

• Create adaptable motion assets, templates, and guidelines for consistent application by clients and internal teams.

• Investigate new motion techniques and technologies.

• Uphold outstanding standards of timing, composition, pacing, storytelling, and technical execution.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in motion design, preferably in a top branding, motion, or digital design studio.

• Impressive portfolio showcasing unique motion concepts and comprehensive motion identity systems.

• Strong grasp of animation principles, timing, composition, pacing, and visual storytelling.

• Experience in developing scalable motion languages as opposed to standalone animations.

• Advanced skills in After Effects, Figma, and the Adobe Creative Suite.

• Familiarity with 3D animation tools such as Cinema 4D or Blender is advantageous.

• Tech-savvy and eager to learn, with practical experience using prompt-to-motion tools, AI-assisted animation workflows, and modern motion platforms like Jitter.

• Comfortable working within multidisciplinary creative teams and sharing ideas early in the design process.

• Capable of articulating creative thoughts, responding constructively to feedback, and managing work autonomously.

• Highly detail-oriented and technically proficient.

• Enthusiastic about advancing the role of motion in contemporary brand identity.
