Senior Mortgage Advisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Engage with members both in person and through brokers to identify their needs, propose mortgage solutions, and foster enduring relationships.

• Act as the initial point of contact for mortgage products and services.

• Cultivate and strengthen relationships with agents, builders, brokers, and other professionals.

• Prospect and generate leads to establish new mortgage connections.

• Contribute to both individual and team objectives.

• Coach and guide in generating referrals.

• Improve the overall member experience.

• Participate in community organizations and events to generate mortgage business and inform others about BECU mortgage products and services.

• Serve as a primary escalation point for member issues and concerns.

• Moderate travel required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

• At least 3 years of experience in mortgage loan sales.

• Ability to self-generate mortgage volume of $12 million or more annually.

• Compliance with SAFE Act regulations.

• Annual registration as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO).

• Exceptional relationship management, problem-solving, and customer service abilities.

• Strong skills in sales, prospecting, and follow-up.

• Proficient in mathematics with a high level of accuracy, including complex income analysis.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
