Senior Modern Workplace Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the Modern Workplace roadmap and evaluate the existing environment.

• Determine next steps to expedite workplace transformation.

• Oversee the transition from SCCM to Microsoft Intune.

• Develop standards for modern device management and governance models.

• Influence endpoint management across both Windows and macOS platforms.

• Administer software deployment, patch management, and strategies for device lifecycle.

• Promote the adoption and enhancement of Microsoft 365 collaboration tools, including Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.

• Assist in automation and continuous improvement utilizing PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API scripting.

• Provide best-practice recommendations to the broader IT Service team.

• Collaborate closely with the Associate Director of IT Service.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Modern Workplace, Endpoint Management, or Workplace Engineering role.

• Strong practical knowledge of Microsoft Intune.

• Experience in implementing or managing modern endpoint environments.

• Familiarity with both legacy and contemporary workplace technologies, including SCCM, cloud-based device management, and Microsoft 365 services.

• Proficient in Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Microsoft 365, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Windows, macOS, Autopilot, Patch Management, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, PowerShell, and Microsoft Graph API.

• Capable of building and enhancing services, sharing knowledge, and influencing workplace strategy.
