Senior Mobility Specialist – Immigration Lawyer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.

📋 Description

• Oversee assigned cases through the efficient use of case management and billing systems.

• Offer guidance for specific travel requirements, advise on the immigration process, and act as a primary contact for business travel and sponsorship cases.

• Deliver legal and strategic advice on the service delivery of immigration compliance to clients.

• Take charge of senior-level escalations to assist Mobility Specialists.

• Support leadership in managing large-scale projects.

• Keep track of the Mobility dashboard, communication, and help channels to ensure SLA response times and accurate reporting of status.

• Develop in-house immigration services to enhance revenue generation, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

• Analyze, prepare, and submit visa/work permit applications.

• Mentor and assist Mobility Specialists and Coordinators.

• Contribute to the creation of training documentation and support the rollout of training for process changes.

• Build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

• Stay updated on immigration laws and regulatory changes, ensuring ongoing compliance and managing internal documentation.

• Utilize immigration expertise to provide solution-oriented responses to complex client cases.

• Report to the Manager, Mobility within the Mobility team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Licensed immigration lawyer in Germany.

• Significant experience in immigration compliance, global mobility, or related immigration roles.

• Comprehensive understanding of immigration and standard immigration compliance procedures.

• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Ideal candidates will have prior experience in the tech industry or in hyper-growth/scaling environments.

• Proficient in written and spoken English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.

• Experience with remote work is a plus.

• Strong automation skills, AI capabilities, and fluency in AI.
