Senior Mobile Software Engineer, Kotlin

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain shared KMP modules to support POS business functionalities.

• Establish clear repository, service, facade, DTO, and bridge agreements.

• Create platform-specific implementations for both desktop and Android environments.

• Develop offline-capable workflows featuring local data storage, caching, and synchronization capabilities.

• Produce clean, organized code and engage in code reviews.

• Create automated tests for domain logic, use cases, and data repositories.

• Collaborate closely with frontend developers, QA teams, product owners, and architects.

• Share expertise and mentor junior Kotlin developers.

• Adhere to team agreements and processes while providing updates.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Kotlin development.

• Proven hands-on experience with KMP delivery to at least two platforms (ideally Android and JVM/Desktop).

• In-depth understanding of Clean Architecture principles.

• Practical knowledge of Kotlin Coroutines and Flow.

• Experience with offline-first or local-first client architecture models.

• Familiarity with dependency injection methodologies, preferably Koin.

• Strong commitment to testing practices.

• Experience in integrating REST/OpenAPI-style services.

• Proficient with Gradle Kotlin DSL.

• Excellent communication skills.
