Senior Mobile SDK Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Armenia.

📋 Description

• Create and implement a robust SDK for seamless integration into mobile games and applications built on Unity.

• Develop and manage native SDK components for both iOS and Android, along with the Unity integration layer.

• Establish the SDK architecture, public APIs, integration methodologies, and facilitate communication between Unity and native mobile components.

• Take ownership of the SDK lifecycle from the initial design and implementation stages through to packaging, release, monitoring, and ongoing support.

• Ensure compatibility across various Unity versions, iOS and Android versions, devices, and customer environments.

• Collaborate closely with the Mobile Lead and other engineers on technical strategies and implementations.

• Identify technical risks proactively and propose practical solutions with minimal supervision required.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in software development.

• Extensive hands-on experience in developing mobile SDKs for Unity applications.

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in Unity SDK development.

• Minimum of 2 years in native mobile development.

• Strong grasp of Unity and the integration between Unity/C# and native mobile code.

• Professional experience in native Android development using Kotlin.

• Professional experience in native iOS development using Swift.

• Understanding of mobile application lifecycles, performance considerations, threading, and debugging practices.

• Prior experience in leading or significantly owning an SDK project is highly desirable.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical decisions clearly.

• High level of ownership, intrinsic motivation, and capability to work independently.
