This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the architecture, development, customization, configuration, and integration projects for MuleSoft.
• Create and execute secure, scalable, and reusable APIs along with integration solutions.
• Provide architectural guidance for the deployment and configuration of the MuleSoft platform.
• Develop and sustain MuleSoft applications utilizing Anypoint Studio, Mule 4, and CloudHub.
• Design and build RESTful and SOAP-based web services.
• Create and manage integration flows using MuleSoft connectors and advanced messaging techniques.
• Work with both synchronous and asynchronous messaging, streaming, routing, and event-driven integration methods.
• Design reusable system APIs, connectors, code assets, error-handling frameworks, logging, caching, and other shared components.
• Offer expertise on API governance, security, authentication, authorization, and best practices for the platform.
• Engage in the full API lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, governance, and management.
• Conduct performance tuning, debugging, troubleshooting, and resolution of both production and development issues.
• Review technical designs, implementations, diagrams, development standards, and documentation.
• Collaborate with internal technical teams, vendors, business stakeholders, and other project resources.
• Lead technical requirements gathering, solution design, and implementation efforts.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and knowledge transfer to MuleSoft development teams.
• Assist with legacy modernization and data transformation projects.
• Ensure that solutions meet security, availability, confidentiality, and privacy standards.
• Aid in the deployment and automation pipelines while suggesting improvements to development and deployment processes.
• Offer technical support for break/fix issues and production incidents.
• Develop technical documentation, implementation procedures, process diagrams, and data-flow diagrams.
• 14–15+ years of overall IT experience, with considerable experience as a MuleSoft Architect or Lead Developer.
• Extensive experience in developing and testing RESTful and SOAP APIs.
• Practical experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and its components, including Anypoint Exchange, Anypoint Design Center, Anypoint API Manager, Anypoint Runtime Manager, Anypoint Studio, Access Management, and Data Gateway.
• Strong hands-on experience with DataWeave 2.0.
• Experience in developing applications using Mule 4 and CloudHub.
• Real-world experience implementing MuleSoft as an ESB and deployment platform.
• Familiarity with the complete API development lifecycle.
• Experience in designing secure and scalable enterprise APIs.
• Solid knowledge of API security, including OAuth 2.0, SAML, OIDC, identity management, authorization, tokenization, and IDaaS integration.
• Experience with enterprise integration involving Java, Salesforce, C#/.NET Core, Oracle, and GoAnywhere.
• Proven experience leading MuleSoft technical teams, including mentoring and coaching team members.
• Background in legacy modernization or transformation initiatives involving migration from legacy systems to modern platforms.
• Experience in defining non-functional requirements, SLAs, scalability, and performance benchmarks.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical leadership capabilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Data Processing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Active MuleSoft advanced certification is required, such as MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect – Level 1, MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect, or a similar advanced MuleSoft certification.
• Visa eligibility: USC, GC, or GC EAD.
• Preferred: Experience with MuleSoft Database, File, and Sockets Connectors; Salesforce, Amazon S3, and Snowflake Connectors; advanced messaging, streaming, and flow routing; microservices, MVC, and SOLID principles; JSON, XML, HTML, RAML, and WSDL; Oracle and MS SQL Server; NoSQL/DynamoDB and Snowflake; Salesforce or Snowflake microservice APIs; MuleSoft C4E; enterprise-scale implementations; performance optimization; sandbox environments; deployment best practices; technology strategies and product roadmaps.
