Senior Mobile Engineering Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

• Support the career advancement of a group of engineers through performance evaluations, goal-setting sessions, and regular one-on-one meetings.

• Ensure the team has effective processes in place to thrive.

• Engage in leadership discussions to propel the department forward.

• Collaborate with other teams to resolve challenges and coordinate significant projects.

• Offer insights and feedback on policies and procedures affecting the department as a whole.

• Collaborate with team members including Product Managers, Tech Leads, and other stakeholders to ensure team objectives are met.

• Take part in the recruitment process throughout the department.

• Participate in company-wide meetings and social events.

• Gain in-depth knowledge of the payments industry.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in leading a team, encompassing resource planning, goal-setting, performance management, and providing direct/formal mentorship to team members.

• Proven experience in building a team and managing all recruitment processes, including interviewing, reference checks, and making hiring decisions.

• At least 5 years of professional experience as a full-time software engineer.

• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and switch contexts to assist others.

• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex or nuanced concepts clearly, both verbally and in writing.

• Annualized base salary range: $175,000 – $200,000.
