Senior Mixed Signal Design Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design and execute high-speed interfaces and analog circuits.

• Transform innovative integrated circuit designs operating at data rates of 25Gbps and above from concept to silicon characterization.

• Specify circuit requirements and complete the design process from schematic creation, layout, and verification to characterization.

• Perform schematic design utilizing deep-submicron CMOS technologies.

• Take ownership of architecture, transistor design, and verification through the use of industry-standard EDA tools like Cadence Virtuoso.

• Enhance circuits to fulfill system performance specifications.

• Collaborate closely with layout engineers by providing comprehensive floorplans and guidance for matching and high-speed routing.

• Assist in post-silicon bring-up and debugging activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline with a solid background in analog design (or equivalent experience).

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in analog design within the industry.

• Expertise in CMOS Analog / Mixed Signal Circuit Design in deep sub-micron processes, particularly in FINFET.

• Proficient with Cadence's IC design environment and analog circuit simulation tools such as Spectre, HSpice, Finesim, and XA.

• Demonstrated experience in developing test bench environments for component and top-level circuit verification.

• Capability in behavioral modeling of both analog and digital circuits.

• Conduct analog simulations for noise analysis, loop stability analysis, ac/dc/tran analysis, Monte Carlo simulations, etc.

• Strong debugging and analytical abilities.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and a willingness to work collaboratively as a team player are advantageous.
