This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee, configure, and engineer the client's Microsoft 365 environment, which encompasses Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, and related services.
• Drive Microsoft 365 service updates, feature deployments, and configuration modifications utilizing ITIL 4 change management methodologies.
• Monitor the health, performance, and security posture of Microsoft 365 services and proactively address any issues that arise.
• Create and uphold Microsoft 365 configuration standards, policies, and governance documentation.
• Manage and optimize Microsoft 365 licensing.
• Administer and engineer Azure Government, Entra ID, conditional access, identity governance, privileged identity management, subscriptions, resource groups, RBAC, and policy enforcement.
• Lead identity integrations, including IAL2 identity assurance, multi-factor authentication, and single sign-on.
• Assist in the implementation of Zero Trust Architecture and maintain FedRAMP compliance.
• Manage Intune for device management, compliance enforcement, and application deployment.
• Oversee Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and coordinate incident response efforts.
• Develop endpoint baselines, compliance policies, and security standards that align with NIST SP 800-53.
• Facilitate Windows patch management and software deployment.
• Administer mail flow in Exchange Online, transport rules, anti-spam/anti-phishing policies, mailboxes, and email security configurations.
• Support Microsoft Teams policies, governance, meeting configurations, A/V integrations, and Teams Rooms.
• Oversee Microsoft Purview compliance solutions, including data loss prevention and information protection.
• Assist with security assessments, audit evidence collection, remediation, and incident reporting.
• Act as the senior escalation point for intricate Microsoft infrastructure incidents.
• Independently troubleshoot and resolve cross-domain infrastructure challenges.
• Manage incident records within the Government ITSM platform.
• Collaborate with NOC, Service Desk, network, infrastructure, and A/V teams.
• Develop troubleshooting runbooks, escalation procedures, and knowledge base articles.
• Mentor junior administrators, delegate and prioritize tasks, conduct quality reviews, and support recruitment, onboarding, and professional development initiatives.
• A minimum of 6–8 years of practical experience in enterprise Microsoft infrastructure administration and engineering.
• Proven experience in administering and engineering Microsoft 365, Azure Government, and Microsoft Entra within a Federal or similar enterprise setting.
• Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft endpoint management utilizing Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
• Experience in implementing and maintaining Zero Trust Architecture principles across Microsoft platforms.
• Demonstrated experience in a Federal or private-sector enterprise environment of similar scale, complexity, and security posture.
• Proven capability to independently resolve complex, cross-domain Microsoft infrastructure challenges at the enterprise level.
• Familiarity with FedRAMP-authorized Microsoft services and Federal security compliance requirements.
• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration, Microsoft Azure Government, Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), Microsoft Entra identity governance, conditional access, privileged identity management, Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune), Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft Defender for Office 365, Microsoft Purview, Exchange Online, RBAC, and least-privilege access management.
• Strong understanding of Zero Trust Architecture, OMB M-22-09, NIST SP 800-53, FedRAMP requirements for Microsoft GCC High or Azure Government, PowerShell, ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow, ITIL 4, and enterprise network fundamentals.
• Current and unexpired Microsoft Certified: Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert (MS-102).

• Current and unexpired Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300).
