This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Oversee intricate employment transactions, ensuring data precision and addressing high-level escalations.

• Manage promotions, job transitions, supervisor organization, mass changes, EIB workflows, eligibility determinations, and MTA support.

• Provide exceptional colleague service through case management and telephonic interactions.

• Address cases while upholding SLA standards for colleague inquiries.

• Document and track issues and notes within the case management system.

• Address HR inquiries related to benefits administration, HRIS systems, and policy interpretation.

• Act as a subject matter expert for complex Workday employment transactions and escalations.

• Supervise end-to-end MTA workflows that support employee time-away programs.

• Offer system-wide training, guidance, and peer shadowing for employment processes.

• Conduct audits and data validation for employment actions and associated EIBs.

• Perform root cause analysis and create data-driven solutions.

• Manage vendor relationships and collaborate with ministries, boards, vendors, and cross-functional partners.

• Identify opportunities for process enhancement and optimize workflows.

• Assist with ad hoc projects, strategic initiatives, requirements, timelines, and deliverables.

• Implement change management practices to facilitate the adoption of new processes and system modifications.

• Mentor colleagues and contribute to ongoing improvement and cross-functional collaboration.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent level of experience.

• 3-4 years of prior experience in human resources and/or related corporate compliance.

• Familiarity with Workday, vendor management, and case management systems.

• A CEBS or PHR, SHRM-CP certification is preferred.

• Capability to research, collect, compile, synthesize, and analyze information.

• Proficiency in creating reports and graphical data presentations.

• Understanding of HRIS processes and their downstream effects on benefits and compensation.

• Knowledge of relevant federal, state, and local laws/regulations.

• Ability to see tasks through to completion while managing multiple tasks/projects concurrently.

• Competence in using a computer and other technological tools.

• Ability to lift a maximum of 15 pounds without assistance.
