This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +32 more states.
• Act as the primary administrator for Microsoft Copilot and a specialist in user adoption.
• Facilitate onboarding, training, development, and support for solutions driven by Microsoft Copilot.
• Oversee data security, compliance, and tenant readiness.
• Create business analytics and information architecture for the Microsoft 365 Collaboration team.
• Respond to requests for agentic solutions and provide hands-on support throughout the development lifecycle.
• Investigate new, upcoming, or deprecated features in Microsoft Power Platform, LLMs, and AI platforms.
• Offer technical resources for Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, Power Platform, OneDrive for Business, and Viva Engage.
• Assist in the integration of Microsoft Copilot services in accordance with Advocate Health governance policies.
• Design, implement, and manage Active Directory domains, user accounts, group policies, and identity services.
• Architect, deploy, and manage Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), including hybrid identity, federation, conditional access, and on-premises integration.
• Administer and optimize Microsoft 365 services, which include Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive for Business, and Copilot.
• Oversee identity, permissions, licensing, and access controls throughout the Microsoft ecosystem.
• Lead migrations from legacy systems to Microsoft 365, focusing on tenant configuration, data migration, and service deployment.
• Diagnose complex identity and collaboration issues and conduct root-cause analysis.
• Monitor platform health while implementing performance and reliability enhancements.
• Establish and improve security controls for identity, access, data protection, and collaboration services.
• Ensure Microsoft environments comply with regulatory, privacy, and organizational compliance standards.
• Collaborate with IT teams and business stakeholders on enterprise collaboration initiatives.
• Maintain technical documentation, standards, and operational procedures.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to associate- and mid-level engineers.
• Configure Copilot across Microsoft 365 applications.
• Develop adoption roadmaps and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Align Copilot use cases with business objectives.
• Manage executive sponsorship and ensure stakeholder engagement.
• Create training materials and workshops.
• Develop personas and role-based use cases.
• Provide continuous support and feedback mechanisms.
• Monitor adoption metrics and user engagement levels.
• Identify usage gaps and areas for improvement.
• Report return on investment (ROI) and success stories to leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• At least five years of experience in IT.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365.
• Strong understanding of Active Directory, Azure AD, and Microsoft 365 technologies.
• Extensive experience in Active Directory administration and management.
• Proficient in Windows Server, Group Policy, and related technologies.
• Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell for automation tasks.
• Strong grasp of identity and access management concepts, including authentication, authorization, and conditional access.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
• Capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
• Must reside in one of the specified eligible U.S. states.
