This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Administer and provide support for Sectra PACS environments, encompassing configuration, user management, workflow optimization, and system oversight.
• Oversee critical results reporting workflows utilizing Primordial.
• Manage and troubleshoot PowerScribe 360, including user profiles, templates, speech recognition performance, and interface connections.
• Support cardiology imaging applications, which include CVIS, echocardiography systems, modality workstations, and structured reporting tools.
• Monitor system performance, storage utilization, and data integrity across various imaging platforms.
• Analyze radiology and cardiology workflows to pinpoint enhancements and minimize turnaround time.
• Collaborate with department leadership and technologists regarding modality connectivity and exam lifecycle management.
• Maintain system dictionaries, protocol settings, and configuration standards throughout the Abrazo market.
• Assist with DICOM configuration, HL7 interface troubleshooting, and the integration of imaging systems with EMR and enterprise systems.
• Coordinate software upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities with vendors and internal IS teams.
• Ensure the functionality of modality worklists and troubleshoot acquisition, routing, and image storage challenges.
• Verify that imaging systems comply with regulatory and accreditation standards, including ACR, Joint Commission, and HIPAA.
• Maintain audit logs, conduct user access reviews, and enforce data retention policies.
• Engage in on-call rotations, incident response, and downtime contingency planning.
• Provide training and support to radiologists, technologists, cardiologists, and clinical staff.
• Create documentation, quick guides, and communications regarding system modifications, downtime, and new features.
• Act as a liaison between clinical teams and technical support groups.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, Imaging Science, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in imaging informatics or PACS administration within a healthcare setting.
• Practical experience with Sectra PACS.
• Practical experience with Primordial Critical Results Management.
• Practical experience with PowerScribe 360 (PS360).
• Practical experience with cardiology imaging systems, including CVIS, echocardiography, cath lab, and structured reporting applications.
• Strong knowledge of DICOM, HL7, imaging modalities, and clinical imaging workflows.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service abilities.
• Preferred: experience in supporting enterprise imaging across multi-facility markets.
• Preferred: vendor certifications for Sectra, Nuance/PS360, or cardiology applications.
• Preferred: knowledge of EMR integration, such as Cerner or Epic.
• Preferred: understanding of cybersecurity best practices related to imaging systems.
• Preferred: experience with project management or system implementation.
