Cloud Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform patching and maintenance tasks across Linux, Windows, database, and AWS environments based on established processes and schedules.

• Adhere to change management, validation, and documentation standards.

• Triage platform issues spanning Linux, Windows, databases, and AWS, resolving them within existing capabilities and escalating complex problems as necessary.

• Assist with cross-platform operational tasks under the guidance of a Cloud Engineer.

• Utilize platform runbooks and monitoring tools to identify issues, document findings, and detect emerging problem trends.

• Engage in platform reviews and incident management.

• Contribute to a knowledge base that includes resolved issues, operational insights, and cross-platform practices.

• Aid the Infrastructure Operations team in maintaining a reliable infrastructure while enhancing broader technical expertise.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in working with or supporting AWS environments.

• Proficient understanding of Linux and Windows systems.

• Basic knowledge of databases and systems administration principles.

• Experience or familiarity with patching, maintenance, vulnerability management, or similar infrastructure operations.

• Capability to accurately follow documented procedures, runbooks, and change management protocols.

• Strong troubleshooting and incident-response abilities, including discernment on when to resolve issues independently and when to escalate.

• Excellent documentation and communication skills for recording changes, troubleshooting methodologies, and operational insights.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical team members, receive guidance, and implement feedback.

• A genuine curiosity and eagerness to expand technical knowledge across various infrastructure platforms.

• Familiarity with Terraform or infrastructure as code is advantageous.

• Knowledge of AWS Systems Manager, AWS EC2, AWS RDS, AWS CloudWatch, Jira Service Management, Confluence, SyncroMSP, or vulnerability management tools is a plus.

• Willingness to undergo a drug test and submit to a credit and background check.

• U.S. citizenship is required, as this position is exclusively for U.S. citizens.
