This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct research, compose, and refine high-quality, original editorial content centered on Oncology.
• Ensure the accuracy of scientific information while editing and referencing.
• Collaborate with clients, authors, and team members to effectively advance projects.
• Attend congresses, symposia, and advisory board meetings as necessary, coordinating with speakers and clients.
• Offer insights on project specifications, budgeting, and timelines.
• Partner with the internal account team to guarantee timely and budget-compliant project delivery.
• Deliver comprehensive briefings to colleagues and freelancers.
• Actively engage in account development meetings to promote repeat business.
• Mentor and support new writers.
• Create scientifically sound manuscripts, slides, and other medical communication materials.
• Convert complex scientific data into clear, engaging, and impactful narratives for healthcare professional audiences.
• Assume ownership of projects from inception to delivery.
• Provide editorial guidance and review content produced by colleagues.
• Contribute strategic insights to assist clients in achieving their objectives.
• Establish and nurture relationships with clients, authors, and external experts in a scientific consulting capacity.
• A Bachelor’s degree in the life sciences; a PharmD or PhD is highly preferred.
• Ideally, a minimum of 2 years of medical writing experience, preferably in publications within a medcomms agency.
• Demonstrated experience in creating scientific content for Oncology-focused accounts is essential.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Skilled in conducting Internet and PubMed searches.
• Capability to work autonomously with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a team.
