This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Assist in strategy, research, analytics, and/or value communications initiatives.
• Aid in managing project tasks, team members, and client relationships.
• Act as a liaison with project stakeholders.
• Perform structured or systematic searches of medical literature.
• Conduct critical reviews, interpretations, and synthesis of medical literature.
• Create drafts for publications, such as manuscripts, abstracts, and posters.
• Prepare technical reports and slide presentations.
• Collaborate with key opinion leaders, including clinicians and health economists.
• Review, edit, and format draft documents.
• Execute quality assurance on written materials.
• Develop product dossiers, value messages, marketing materials, clinical summaries, and objection handlers.
• Provide copyediting and formatting assistance on final documents.
• Aid in creating slides for project-related meetings and calls.
• Attend, engage in, and possibly lead project meetings.
• Assist in preparing written communications for clients.
• May oversee and/or mentor junior staff and aid in defining project scope, timelines, and strategies.

• Undertake other duties as assigned.
• MSc or PhD degree in a medical or mathematics-related discipline such as biology, epidemiology, pharmacology, health economics, or statistics.
• At least one (1) year of experience as a medical/scientific writer.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong critical thinking, analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficient in effectively interacting and communicating with peers, senior management, and clients.
• Ability to prioritize and complete tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Adaptability to changing internal and client-related priorities and timelines.
• Technically skilled in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in EndNote is considered an asset.
• Some travel may be necessary.
• Overtime and/or weekend/evening hours may be required to meet project deadlines.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including reaching, grasping, standing and/or sitting for extended periods, walking, talking, hearing, and occasionally lifting/moving up to 25 pounds.
