Senior Medical Scribe – Charting Virtual Assistant, Part-Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Generate precise and detailed medical documentation during or following patient interactions.

• Participate in phone calls with the Nurse Practitioner and patients to record symptoms, concerns, updates on medical history, and treatment notes.

• Receive a daily patient schedule from the Nurse Practitioner.

• Upload, organize, and securely maintain patient documentation in OneDrive.

• If qualified, assist in navigating PointClickCare for documentation, chart updates, or patient searches.

• Uphold strict confidentiality regarding all patient records and sensitive health information.

⛳️ Requirements

• Senior-Level Experience as a Medical Scribe, Healthcare VA, Nurse VA, or in a similar capacity.

• Strong understanding of medical terminology and clinical documentation practices.

• HIPAA Certification (Preferred; highly prioritized).

• Prior experience supporting a Nurse Practitioner or medical professional.

• Exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Strong organizational abilities with a high level of accuracy in documentation.

• Availability to work part-time during mid to late afternoon PST.

• Tech-savvy with experience in: OneDrive (required) and PointClickCare (preferred but not mandatory).

• Capability to manage fast-paced workloads (20–30 patients/day).

• High integrity and a strong commitment to confidentiality.
