Prescribing Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant – 1099 Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma.

📋 Description

• Provide thorough mental health medication management through a 60-minute intake session followed by regular follow-up appointments.

• Perform mental health risk assessments, psychiatric medication evaluations, and ongoing medication treatment.

• Develop patient-centered treatment strategies, document treatment advice, communicate with patients, and prescribe as well as manage psychiatric medications.

• Demonstrate experience and dedication to delivering safe, evidence-based medication treatment that aligns with clinical best practice guidelines (e.g., measurement-based care, patient-centered care, attentive monitoring, minimizing medication risks, and enhancing benefits).

⛳️ Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited (CCNE) Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) program; OR completed an accredited PA program (ARC-PA) with certification through PANCE, with a preference for those holding a Certificate of Added Qualifications in psychiatry, post-graduate fellowship in psychiatry, or other academic psychiatry certificate programs, including a Doctor of Medical Science with a Psychiatry concentration.

• Hold an unrestricted state license in Oklahoma.

• Have a minimum of 2 years of clinical practice.

• Strong preference for NPs and PA-Cs possessing an active DEA license.

• Preference for NPs and PA-Cs with additional certification or clinical experience working with minors.

• Must have an office space capable of accommodating client appointments.

• Ability to care for patients across a diverse range of diagnoses, clinical complexities, and severity levels, with a preference for providers who can offer in-person services.

• Must be a full-time resident of the United States.
