Senior Medical Science Liaison, Neuroimmunology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Deliver impartial, balanced, and objective scientific information and education to opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and internal stakeholders.

• Act as a recognized scientific and clinical knowledge authority on current and future Innovative Medicine products within the designated therapeutic area.

• Keep informed about scientific advances and treatment developments in pertinent therapeutic fields.

• Provide research assistance for both company-initiated and investigator-led studies.

• Establish and nurture external relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and healthcare providers while managing the designated geographical territory.

• Create and uphold a strategic plan for the territory that includes educational initiatives with opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, institutions, and community practices.

• Collaborate ethically with field-based partners to support healthcare providers and positively influence patient outcomes.

• Conduct activities in compliance with regulatory and healthcare guidelines.

• Travel predominantly within the assigned region, with limited travel outside the area.

• Provide support for departmental operations and internal collaborators.

⛳️ Requirements

• PharmD, PhD, MD, NP, or PA with over 2 years of relevant experience in neurology, immunology, and/or neuromuscular fields.

• 2–4 years of experience as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL), or 2–3 years of pertinent clinical or research experience, and/or related pharmaceutical industry experience.

• Approximately 60% travel required, including overnight and weekend trips as necessary.

• Valid driver's license is mandatory.

• Foundational skills in Influence & Results Focused, Communication, Stakeholder Engagement, Product & Therapeutic Area Knowledge, and Data Insights & Dissemination.

• Capability to cultivate robust relationships and manage a geographical territory effectively.

• Strong scientific knowledge and understanding.

• Preferred: experience with product launches in rare diseases.

• Preferred: significant experience in delivering presentations.
