This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Serve as the primary contact within the designated geographic area.

• Maintain clinical and scientific knowledge in oncology and immunotherapy, particularly focusing on standards of care related to CCA and HCC treatment.

• Engage in informed, compliant, comprehensive, and precise scientific discussions regarding our client’s pipeline with key opinion leaders (KOLs).

• Possess a deep understanding of clinical protocols, trial outcomes, and associated procedures.

• Create and monitor KOL engagement strategies - identify, cultivate, and sustain long-term collaborative relationships with KOLs in the assigned region.

• Participate in medical and scientific exchanges with the healthcare community, including advisory boards.

• Oversee ongoing territory planning, development, and engagement efforts.

• Handle all clinical program inquiries and respond to unsolicited information requests.

• Collaborate with the R&D Team to support sites and investigators involved in company-sponsored clinical trials.

• Execute pre-launch KOL profiling to deepen understanding of product, disease, and scientific knowledge.

• Facilitate profiling of top accounts/institutions to enhance comprehension of patient care pathways, including treatment protocols and innovative therapies.

• Work in collaboration and compliance with commercial colleagues to ensure product strategic goals are represented across functional account engagement.

• Respond to and document unsolicited inquiries regarding clinical initiatives.

• May act as a resource for investigator-sponsored trial (IIT) proposals.

• Provide internal teams with feedback and insights gained from interactions with KOLs.

• Represent our client at medical meetings through coverage at Medical Affairs’ Scientific Booth and related activities.

• Attend congresses as necessary and produce meaningful internal reports on the congresses attended.

• Follow corporate SOPs and maintain rigorous compliance with relevant legal and regulatory standards governing scientific interactions with physicians and healthcare professionals across all activities, including clinical trials, scientific interactions with both internal and external groups, and responses to unsolicited requests for medical/scientific information.

• Consistently uphold a high standard of excellence in managing the assigned territory while contributing to the overall success of colleagues and the MSL team.

• Assist in achieving organizational objectives beyond the confines of the assigned geographic territory.

• Maintain proficiency in clinical data and effectively convey scientific and clinical outcomes, economic, and value-based evidence supporting our client's products to healthcare professionals, formulary committee members, and payers.


⛳️ Requirements

• An advanced degree (e.g., PharmD, PhD, MD, MSN, or NP/PA) is mandatory.

• MSL: A minimum of 2 years of prior MSL experience is essential, with at least 1 year in rare disease, oncology (and/or immunology) and a working knowledge of targeted therapies.

• Sr. MSL: A minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical experience and 3 years in rare disease, oncology (and/or immunology) is required.

• Experience in GI Cancer Therapy is strongly preferred.

• Prior experience with product launches is necessary.

• Familiarity with standards of care for HCC and CCA is desirable.

• Previous experience in sharing scientific content with payer systems is highly desirable.

• Ability to present complex scientific and evidence-based information to payors and/or formulary committees is required.

• Working knowledge of institutions and clinics in specified geographies is expected.

• Exceptional written and oral presentation skills are essential.

• Willingness to travel frequently (70%) with overnight stays (e.g., KOL meetings, site locations, internal meetings, medical meetings, and congresses, training).
