Senior Medical Science Liaison

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Build peer-to-peer, science-driven relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare decision-makers.

• Provide fair, balanced, and credible medical and scientific presentations.

• Facilitate company-sponsored and investigator-initiated research initiatives.

• Represent the company as a scientific expert at conferences and meetings.

• Educate faculty on scientific content for the company’s speaker’s bureau.

• Act as a scientific resource for key opinion leaders and internal staff.

• Gather insights from key opinion leaders to strategically direct educational efforts in pertinent therapeutic areas.

• Analyze and interpret existing data, including congress presentations, key opinion leader engagements, and posters, to offer clinical insights into the evolving therapeutic landscape.

• Conduct responsibilities in compliance with FDA guidelines, healthcare compliance regulations, SOPs, and industry best practices.

• Represent the company at designated patient advocacy, professional society, or other meetings as necessary.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced colleagues.

• Undertake other related duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• PharmD or PhD in a health science discipline with 4+ years of relevant experience in an equivalent field-based role, preferably with 2+ years in the CNS therapeutic area.

• OR MD/DO degree with 2+ years of related experience.

• Ability to foresee business and industry challenges and suggest process, technical, or service enhancements.

• Extensive expertise or specialized knowledge.

• Deep knowledge in the discipline along with a broad understanding of related areas.

• Capability to collaborate with and lead multiple teams.

• Leadership and mentoring capabilities.

• Proficient computer skills.

• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

• Ability to meet various deadlines across different projects and programs with precision and efficiency.

• Strong project management and leadership skills.

• Demonstrated capability to achieve individual goals while continuously enhancing relevant knowledge, skills, and abilities.

• Solid understanding of drug development and product life-cycle management is preferred.

• Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare compliance requirements and regulatory trends affecting field medical practices.
