This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Oversee, coordinate, and assess medical projects across one or more programs.
• Collaborate with management and various stakeholders to ensure process consistency and compliance.
• Conduct initial reviews of safety data.
• Analyze data for safety trends, coding consistencies, and potential follow-ups with investigator sites.
• Anticipate any potential issues and address or escalate them as necessary.
• Review safety data and compile summaries for safety review meetings.
• Manage the implementation, coordination, maintenance, and closure of assigned studies.
• Act as the primary contact for clinical project teams regarding studies.
• Develop and uphold medical management plans for studies.
• Track the financial status of projects and forecast unit usage.
• Coordinate staffing projections based on contract values and actual hours utilized.
• Raise any financial and/or operational risks and participate in risk management meetings.
• Resolve complex issues through comprehensive evaluation of various factors and propose solutions.
• Present at business development, client, and investigator meetings.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related Health Sciences (Physician's Assistant) or a valid RN license.
• Prior experience that equips the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for the role (equivalent to 5+ years).
• A minimum of 5 years in clinical safety experience (in clinical research monitoring, pharmacovigilance, or a combination of both).
• In-depth understanding of GCPs for medical oversight of clinical trials.
• Familiarity with drug development and safety reporting processes.
• Proficient knowledge of safety data trending, including coding.
• Working knowledge of biostatistics, data management, and clinical procedures.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Excellent project management and budgeting skills.
• Effective mentoring abilities, with a capacity to train and lead others.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
