Senior Medical Director, Hematology – Lymphoma

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Oversee the medical strategy for the Cutaneous T-Cell Lymphoma field within Hematology Medical Affairs.

• Propel brand medical strategy and foster external collaborations with opinion leaders, community physicians, medical societies, and key accounts.

• Spearhead launch preparation initiatives for lacutamab, a humanized monoclonal antibody immunotherapy targeting KIR3DL2.

• Act as the primary medical spokesperson for lymphoma and lacutamab.

• Design and execute the US medical strategy for the disease area.

• Report directly to the Vice President, Head of Hematology Medical Affairs.

• Collaborate with Field Medical to engage healthcare professionals, medical organizations, payers, and patient advocacy groups.

• Serve as the medical lead on the Brand Team.

• Manage launch readiness for lacutamab, encompassing disease education, articulation of unmet needs, and planning for evidence generation.

• Provide analytical expertise and insights for Medical Affairs deliverables.

• Develop and refine KOL and key-institution engagement strategies.

• Work together on field-resource requirements and the creation of field materials and tactics specifically for CTCL and lacutamab.

• Lead advisory boards and educational initiatives, including webinars, medical roundtables, symposia, and congress participation.

• Generate, evaluate, and disseminate medical insights to inform strategic and tactical adjustments.

• Contribute to evidence-generation projects, real-world evidence studies, and publications.

• Foster collaborative relationships with Market Access, Medical Information, Clinical Development, Sales, and Marketing teams.

• Support cross-functional initiatives throughout the organization.

• Help cultivate a strong team culture within Hematology/Oncology Medical Affairs.

⛳️ Requirements

• MD, PhD, or PharmD degree.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Medical Director.

• Experience with pre-launch and/or launch processes.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences.

• Proven ability to establish meaningful, bi-directional relationships with the medical community.

• Strong scientific and clinical expertise, coupled with strategic and analytical capabilities.

• Demonstrated leadership across essential Medical Affairs functions, including evidence generation, publications, medical education, and strategy formulation.

• Willingness and capability to effectively collaborate in a cross-functional, team-oriented environment with colleagues at all levels.

• Self-motivated individual with strong interpersonal skills and a results-driven, solution-oriented mindset.

• Ability to travel up to 50%, primarily within the domestic sphere.
