This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Oversee the medical strategy for the Cutaneous T-Cell Lymphoma area within Hematology Medical Affairs.
• Propel brand medical strategy and foster external relationships with opinion leaders, community physicians, medical societies, and key accounts.
• Spearhead launch preparations for lacutamab, a humanized monoclonal antibody immunotherapy designed to target KIR3DL2.
• Act as the primary medical representative for lymphoma and lacutamab.
• Develop and execute the US medical strategy for this disease area.
• Report directly to the Vice President, Head of Hematology Medical Affairs.
• Collaborate with Field Medical to engage healthcare professionals, medical organizations, payers, and patient advocacy groups.
• Serve as the medical lead for the Brand Team.
• Provide strategic direction for medical strategy, brand-aligned tactics, and engagement with external clinicians.
• Take ownership of launch readiness, including disease education, articulation of unmet needs, and planning for evidence generation.
• Contribute analytical expertise and insights to Medical Affairs outputs.
• Formulate and enhance engagement plans for KOLs and key institutions.
• Work collaboratively on field materials and tactics specific to CTCL and lacutamab.
• Lead the planning and execution of advisory boards and educational initiatives, such as webinars, medical roundtables, symposia, and presence at congresses.
• Generate and disseminate medical insights with the field team and analyze these insights to refine strategy and tactical approaches.
• Contribute to projects focused on evidence generation, real-world evidence studies, and publications.
• Establish collaborative relationships with Market Access, Medical Information, Clinical Development, Sales, and Marketing teams.
• Support cross-functional initiatives throughout the organization.
• Foster a strong team culture within Hematology/Oncology Medical Affairs.
• MD, PhD, or PharmD is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Medical Director.
• Experience with pre-launch and/or launch processes.
• Outstanding communication and presentation abilities, including the skill to convey complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences.
• Strong capability to establish meaningful, reciprocal relationships with the medical community.
• Solid scientific and clinical understanding, with strong strategic and analytical skills.
• Proven leadership across essential Medical Affairs functions, such as evidence generation, publications, medical education, and strategy formulation.
• Willingness and capability to work effectively in a cross-functional, team-oriented environment with colleagues at various levels.
• Self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills and a results-oriented, solution-focused approach.
• Ability to travel up to 50%, primarily within the United States.
