
Senior Mechanical Engineering Technician – Navy Diesel Engine Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and update data within the Shipboard Automated Maintenance Manager (SAMM)
• Evaluate Diesel Engine Performance Analysis (DEPA) data
• Deliver monthly and event-driven reports to TYCOM while assisting fleet operations
• Perform forensic examinations of malfunctioning diesel engines and their components
• Create training programs based on issues/events encountered by the fleet
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Capable of obtaining security clearance
• High-level Security Clearance is preferred
• 10 years of experience as a US Navy Engineman specializing in diesel propulsion and power generation systems
• 3 years of experience in support of the US Navy DRS Program
• Certification as a US Navy Fleet Diesel Engine Inspector (DEI)
• 4 years of experience with US Navy diesel engine applications including FM-Pielstick, FMOP, Caterpillar, MTU, or Isotta Fraschini
• Proven experience with Shipboard Automated Maintenance Manager (SAMM) and conducting diagnostic analyses
