This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Design and engineer mobile mechanical systems tailored for oil and gas applications, including hydraulic equipment, mobile lifting systems, and field-service machinery.
• Improve reliability and efficiency in high-pressure, high-load, and high-cycle environments.
• Develop detailed CAD models and drawings utilizing Inventor (preferred), AutoCAD, or SolidWorks.
• Conduct testing and refinement of equipment to ensure compliance with API, ASME, and internal quality standards.
• Troubleshoot field issues, minimize downtime, and promote continuous improvements in system performance.
• Collaborate across functions with design, manufacturing, and field teams to provide sturdy, field-ready solutions.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
• Over 7 years of experience in mechanical design pertaining to oil & gas or heavy industrial equipment.
• Expertise in CAD software (Inventor, AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
• In-depth knowledge of hydraulic systems, power units, and mechanical assemblies.
• Demonstrated ability to oversee projects from initial concept to final deployment.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
