This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Accountable for the design, modeling, and documentation of tooling solutions utilized in the manufacturing and assembly of intricate aerospace hardware.
• Collaborate across various engineering teams and engage directly with program stakeholders.
• Provide high-quality, review-ready tool designs that align with program specifications.
• Create comprehensive 3D and 2D models and engineering drawings using CREO and/or CATIA software.
• Generate drawings in .CATDrawing or .drw file formats following program standards.
• Ensure that all models and drawings are thoroughly complete and primed for peer review and final approval before submission.
• Develop and/or assist in defining tooling requirements for each tool throughout the program lifecycle.
• Prepare and/or assist in creating materials for design or requirements review presentations.
• Work alongside systems and program engineering teams to guarantee that requirements are traceable and comprehensive.
• Compose detailed tool usage instruction documents for each designed tool, encompassing proper usage, inspection procedures, and maintenance needs.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 3–6 years of experience in tool design or manufacturing engineering within the aerospace, defense, or a comparable industry.
• Proficient in CREO and/or CATIA for creating 3D models and 2D drawings.
• Experience in producing engineering drawings in .CATDrawing or .drw format.
• Proven capability to develop and document engineering requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint for preparing technical presentation materials.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain and maintain any required facility access credentials.
